Candidate for New York’s 20th Congressional District, Jim Tedisco, (R,C-Saratoga) today in a letter called upon the New York State Board of Elections and U.S. Department of Justice to extend a deadline for overseas ballots so that military members serving abroad would be ensured the opportunity for their voices to be heard.
The letter [...]
TEDISCO ASKS OFFICIALS TO EXTEND DEADLINE FOR OVERSEAS BALLOTS
Why do Democrats always gain when there are election recounts?
Ever noticed that when ever there is a close election and a recount is performed its always the democrat who picks up votes?
According to Liz Benjamin as of yesterday here are the new counts
Columbia: Murphy gained 53 votes; Tedisco, 13.
Dutchess: Murphy gained 35 votes; Tedisco, 22.
Greene: Murphy gained 97 votes; Tedisco, 106.
Rensselaer: Murphy gained 221 [...]
Tedisco Only Down By 25 Votes In NY 20
Things are looking better for Republican Congressional candidate Jim Tedisco. According to CNN:
(CNN) — There’s no winner yet in Tuesday’s special election to fill the vacant seat in New York’s 20th congressional district, and both Democrats and Republicans are trying to simultaneously project confidence — and lower expectations.
As of Wednesday afternoon, according to unofficial election [...]
Tedisco Campaign Statement On Election Results
Statement from Brian Nevin,
Campaign Manager for Tedisco for Congress:
“Last night some of the votes in this election have been counted, but not all. It is important to remember that this continues to be an ongoing election. Absentee ballots continue to come in, including those of our military members serving overseas, and those votes must be [...]
CD 20 To Come Down To Absentees
Here are the results with all districts reporting.
Scott Murphy (D): 77,344 – 50%
Jim Tedisco (R): 77,285 – 50%
A dead heat that will come down to absentees. Will most likely take several weeks to decide.
Hopefully the democrats won’t block the military ballots from being counted.
The fact that this is really close with so much Obama-invoking by the Murphy [...]
9/11 FAMILIES FOR A SECURE AMERICA OUTRAGED BY SCOTT MURPHY’S OPPOSITION TO DEATH PENALTY
PAWLING, NY – Scott Murphy’s adamant refusal to support the death penalty for terrorists like Osama Bin Laden is an insult to the families who lost a loved one in the terror attacks upon America on September 11, 2001, according to Ed Kowalski, Director of the organization “9/11 Families for a Secure America.”
Murphy made the [...]
TEDISCO: MURPHY “ALL OVER THE MAP” IN TRYING TO EXCUSE AIG’S SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOR
Candidate for the 20th Congressional District, Jim Tedisco, (R,C-Saratoga) today said Scott Murphy was “all over the map” in trying to excuse American International Group’s (AIG) shameful, greedy behavior in handing out $165 million in executive bonuses despite having received a $170 billion taxpayer bailout.”First, Scott Murphy refused to admit that the AIG bonus loophole [...]
Scott Murphy Democrat In NY-20 Special Election, Part Of The Problem
Scott Murphy, the Democratic millionairre running against Jim Tedisco in the special election of congress, is part of the problem. Take a look at this commercial — I think it’s going to be pretty effective.
The Democrats can’t engage in class warfare and then pick someone to run just because he’s rich!
BREAKING NEWS FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: AIG GAVE $100,000 TO NEW YORK STATE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
STATEMENT FROM TEDISCO FOR CONGRESS
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR JOSHUA FITZPATRICK:
“Today’s AP report that AIG bailed out the New York State Democratic Party to the tune of $100,000 just before Governor Paterson intervened on AIG’s behalf raises many troubling questions – it also explains why the unpopular Governor is fundraising so feverishly for Scott Murphy.
Murphy still won’t answer [...]
Dodd Should Endorse Scott Murphy In NY 20 Special Election; Given Stimulus Support
If Sen. Chris Dodd feels so strongly about his support of the stimulus bill that allowed AIG to pocket millions in bonuses, he might find a friend in Democrat Scott Murphy who will bring that same attitude to Congress if elected on March 31st, according to Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Chris Healy Wednesday.”It might be [...]
