It's a right is a battle cry for the left now. Anything that one person can have so should all as a right.

I got into a discussion down here in Houston with some people about health care. It is now a given that health care is a right and now they are aguing that so is abortion. They argue taht because now that abortion is a constitutional right. (yes I asked then to show me where in the constitution it decalres the right to an abortion) Their argument went like this, If wealthy people can afford an abortion the a poor person should be able to have one as well. So therefore the right of healthcare should cover abortions.

The dizzying litany of collectivist encroachments is mind-boggling and alarming. Too many to track which, of course, is the elitist strategy. Frankly, I am at a loss. Except for the 2010 elections, I don't really see any hope for peacefully remedying this neo-Marxist makeover of America. Ultiamtely, much more, shall we say, convincing grassroots activism appears the only way to reverse this terrible makeover. For all the well-intentioned marching and protesting, Americans are being utterly and disdainfully ignored by the elites. I sense that if the 2010 elections don't substanitally turn things around, our options are drastically narrowed. I try to be optimistic and hopeful, but it's increasingly difficult. Another exellent and informative post. Thanks!
