And as I see the dumbing down of Americans, the me-first culture of entitlement taking firm root and the almost inexorable slide toward socialism, the prospect of tyranny is anything but simply a possibility. I think it looms as a clear and present danger now more than ever. But as long as enough of us are vigilant and noncompliant, we still "have a Republic, if we can keep it."
