Felt like I was back in a Political Philosophy course. I needed that. Thanks! Yes, indeed, the Founders were a brilliant lot each of whom relied much on the classic philosophers to shape their vision of America. But, as you so eloquently describe, what they shaped was quintessentially, uniquely and exceptionally AMERICA. And to see the cloddish collectivist buffoons in our midst trying to unravel it all is incredible and infuriating. Again, great post!!!!!!! SUPER post, CL, and very informative!
