I think I figured out why Greece Democratic Supervisor Candidate Dan Maloney is in such a hurry to name a Chief of Police in Greece. He has a lot more experience with the criminal justice system than any of us knew.

I’ve been sitting on this information for a while now.  We’ve received several e-mails concerning Democratic Greece Supervisor Candidate Dan Maloney’s sons, Timothy and David (who live at the Maloney homestead on Stone Road) and their arrest records.

Evidently, Timothy Maloney was  arrested for DWI in 2008 and was scheduled for a trial in May or June of this year.  He failed to show up for his trial and a warrant was issued for his arrest.  He was arrested a few days later when police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.  He was arguing with his girlfriend in a parking lot in car that had a flat tire and a broken windshield.  Maloney told police that an unidentified black man broke their windshield and slit their tire. That turned out to be a lie.   Bad stuff to be sure, but I decided not to publish the information.

Last week, I received an e-mail that Timothy was arrested a couple of weeks ago at Home Depot for changing the UPC code on a $50 item with a UPC code for $5 dollars.   Getting warmer but I still wasn’t sure.

I just received an e-mail that another one of Maloney’s sons, David, was recently arrested for driving with a suspended license or suspended registration.  I think this reaches the tipping point.

My sources tell me that police officers are really concerned about this.  If Dan Maloney is elected Supervisor, imagine the position they would be in.  Having to arrest the Maloney boys is becoming a regular activity. Usually candidate’s kids are on their best behavior when their father is running for office.

Can you imagine how these kids will be if their old man is elected Supervisor?
