Buff Pun

You should have stopped at Gallup. When you went on with a CBS news poll it lost credibility. They skew thier polls terribly. They had John Kerry winning by 8 points the day of the 2004 election. You look at any final CBS news poll and it is always skewed heavy democrat and never reflects the final outcome.

Buffalo,

Not sure what in your posts contradicts DT's comment...Obama's ratings are dropping.

Overall his approval ratings are good but they are not as high as they were...and as with all presidents after the honeymoon their ratings come down to earth.

No doubt the Nobel prize helped him in the polls. As I myself posted I believe that when an american wins the prize we should celebrate it.

I was also one of the people who after the election said that he won it and the people spoke. I want just as much respect for President Obama as I did for President Bush. It was hard to find the respect for President Bush from those who disagreed with him. President Obama also came into office claiming he would be a uniter. Sadly he has polarized the nation even faster than President Bush did.

His presidency is still just starting. He still has time to do what is considered right by the majority of American people if he wants to get re-elected. The recent move upward in the polls was after a long slide down from a very high perch.

No wonder his approval ratings continue to drop.

Is contradicted by this, and this, and this.
