BigHollywood thugs mugged a documentary journalist who dared to ask AlGore a question at a “Question and Answer” session. Phelim McAleer was the journalist who AlGore had invited. McAleer is the director and producer of “Not Evil Just Wrong” (2008), a feature length documentary that looks at extreme environmentalism.

There is an interesting logic that McAleer and Gore make. If Polar Bear populations are rising as McAleer claims and if they are endangered as Al Gore claims, should’t we be trying to figure out why the population is increasing instead of why they are endangered?

That’s the first paragraph in a Newsweek article about “climate change” – Is it Global Warming? NOPE – back then in 1975 when the article was written it was Global Cooling that was the culprit…

Not only are the polar bears doing well but the BBC posted an article on October 9th, 2009 that said …”For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures. And our climate models did not forecast it, even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise.”

The problem with Al Gore and most liberal activists is that they are hiding their true reasons for advocating the things they do – there is a political motivation behind every single word, thought and action and though those on the left are likely not to mention their true motives I think it is clear what they really are. The right is not different at least since Regan, there is a policital motivation for the DOMA and the PATRIOT ACT and all the propaganda that goes with it.
As in most cases of liberal activism the case for global warmings supposed dire effects on the world and it’s creature is completely overblown, the current climate trend will become another trend and we will survive. That however doens’t mean that we shouldn’t care for the environment, but as with most things of great concern in this country, caring for the environment is best left to the conditions of the free market and not the regulations of the big government!
