Suspended Greece Police Chief Merritt Rahn was charged with 11 more crimes this morning.

From the D&C:

In an indictment unsealed in state Supreme Court this morning, Rahn, 60, was charged with 11 criminal counts, eight of them felonies. Six charges stem from the crash, including hindering prosecution, tampering with public records and falsifying business records.

The remaining five involve records connected to the theft of Rahn’s department-issued firearm in 1999, which also is the subject of a town disciplinary proceeding. Rahn is accused of falsifying reports after his gun was stolen from his car at his Greece home.

We will have more on this.
