Have you ever wondered how congress can read a 1000+ page bill which spends trillions of dollars, that is dropped on them overnight and then they vote on it the  next day?  Well Congressman John Conyers (D) Michigan, explains it all here in this video.

Mr. Conyers  isn’t that the point?  These bills are so massive that you need days to read them, and an army of lawyers to interpret them?

It needs to be noted that this is the man who leads the congressional Judiciary Committee.  To this day he wants to impeach President Bush, even though he has been out of office for six months.

It should also be noted that Conyers wife was also recently convicted of conspiracy and faces up to five years in prison, because of bills that appeared before him in congress. 

I know what you are saying “Why don’t we hear about these things?”. The answer is because Conyers does not have an (R) after his name.  American Exceptionalism? I don’t think so.
