We dig having you here, but be careful of the GOP pol accusation. Someone here might just accuse you of being a Greece or Monroe County Democrat operative for defending a Democrat operative who supports the spreading of false accusations. I’d actually hate to see that happen because while we may disagree on things and admittedly this is a blog that leans more right of center, we enjoy having a sincere difference of opinions represented here.

Here’s my point. I’m sure Garretson has the number to town hall and has his very own telephone. I’m also pretty sure John and Dave encounter each other at times. I’m not exactly sure if Dave wrote his first story before Greece’s Barnard parade, but if he had a question then, I’m sure he could have simply pulled Jack aside and asked.

I’ve now read Dave’s posts. He claims he just has a simple question. So why doesn’t he simply call Auberger and ask the question instead of writing several blog posts whose accusatory claims intensify as the weeks pass? Will Dan Maloney pledge to respond to each and every accusation posted here or on any other local blogs? I doubt he would and I wouldn’t expect him too. It’s a stupid political ploy.

Dave should not act as if he’s being sincere and is now a poor innocent victim. He’s knee deep in the Greece Democrat political campaigns and is acting as such on his blog. Any claim at only representing the interests of all Greece residents is in my opinion, bunk.

Dave Garretson is welcome to come here and explain his reasoning for making these accusations and what proof he has for drawing his conclusion. You and others can join him in defending he decision to conduct himself this way and others can take him to task and challenge his supposed sincerety. He is free to disregard the offer and we won’t say he’s automatically guilty for not following through.

You, me and Dave (and everyone else) know what he’s doing and what this is about. It’s a Greece Democrat taking a shot at a Greece Republican. If it wasn’t, Dave would have called Auberger to ask. Don’t be silly and naive.

I was just in that area last week with my boat. There is no breakwall!! Just rocks that have been there for years. I am sure many democrats have boats on lake ontario as well. One of them could go out and take a picture. The Democrats media wing (also know as the democrat and chronicle) would love to publish such photos. Please Klem post on Dave Garretsons blog where the truth doesn’t matter.

Here’s question I have. Garretson says that the supervisor “reportedly had breakwall repairs done in recent years.” Anyone familiar with the report? I haven’t seen that “reported” anywhere.

Could it be? No. Just maybe. Yet… another… Garretson… lie?

You claim to be from Greece…well go find the Mt. Read Wegmans on googlemaps, tell me what you see. It’s facing the wrong direction, because you’re looking at the old Wegmans that was demolished in 2007. The construction of the new one, which faces north, began in 2005. Even the Chase-Pitkin next to it is still in operation at the time of this photograph, and I think they shut the Mt. Read Chase-Pitkin down in 2004. Also a good point of reference is the Athena Performing Arts Theatre. It’s fully built, but the landscaping isn’t finished, which puts the photo around 2004. I’m sure you can find those Greece landmarks, most employees of the Monroe County Republican Party live on the westside.

So just to review, you are being the clueless hack you claim Garretson is, and your faux outrage and ersatz intellectualism merely exposes what you really are: just another GOP pol who is trying to save his own arse. Uncle Rico – An example of GOP ineptitude and incompetence.

When he does this, especially if he has the stones to come here and try to “clarify” himself (according to Dave, if he doesn’t it proves he’s a liar!) ask him if he put 5 minutes worth of effort into confirming the information before spreading it around. That’s as long as it took me, 5 minutes.

But Dave doesn’t care. He’s a full-fledged hack now, and lovin’ it!
