Friends, reports out of Albany are saying the Pedro Espade has a handshake agreement with John Sampson to become the Democratic Majority Leader while Malcolm Smith remain Temporary President until the end of the year and Sampson will be Conference Leader.

I guess this means everything the Democrats have said about Espada over the past month doesn’t count anymore, just like it doesn’t with Hiram. I guess this is just another New York City Democrat who cares about nothing more than himself.  Instead of standing with his former colleagues in the Bi-Partisan Coalition, Pedro will seek self interest rather than helping reform State Government on behalf of the people of the state.  We shouldn’t be surprised after all.  The Democrats for the past 32 days have been telling us how crooked Espada was, it only seems appropriate that he was able to double cross the members of the coalition, now Republican Conference.

I look forward to seeing who the DSCC runs against Pedro in the primary in September 2010.  After all the liberals have been promising that since this fiasco started.  I hope they keep their promise.
