I say bring it up! If he promised it bring it up on a vote, then at least he can say he made good on his promise and he was honest. If it loses then the LGBT community would have to re-evaluate and continue to fund, because they had an honest politician. I hope smith was not dumb enough to promise it would pass. They need to learn from republicans who promised to bring spending under control and did not deliver. They are on the outside now figuring how to get back in power.
