How else would you explain UNION BUSTER Rick Dollinger’s press conference calling for Republicans to return contributions from Christa Construction?
My favorite part of the article was this:
According to records filed with the state Board of Elections, the Monroe County Democratic Party received $7,250 from Christa in six contributions since October 2006. Christa’s most recent contribution to the county Democratic party was in July 2007, records show.
(snip)
“We certainly don’t deny (the contributions), it’s obviously in our reports. But it’s clear that we haven’t received anywhere close to the amount of money the Republicans have managed to raise,” Morelle said.
Conway also took a swipe at Dollinger for accepting funds from financier George Soros, who Conway said has been an advocate for drug legalization.
Then the story ended with this:
Dollinger Thursday attempted to tie Robach to Republican policies of deregulation, which he said have led to the nation’s financial crisis.
“Right here in Greece, we have the same lack of regulation, the same lack of oversight, the same lack of accountability and it’s costing the taxpayers in Greece millions of dollars,” Dollinger said.
Can anyone explain how the school boards lack of oversight has anything to do with anything. In fact the person who was President of the school board when this happened is actually a registered Democrat.
Rick, we may not be as smart as you, but it’s not like we’re idiots!
