We’ve written about the liberal/progressive/socialist activists and their affiliation with atheists on several occasions. In fact we’ve added a new category for religion on our site.

First, we told you about atheists for Dollinger and how they disrupted a woman’s health fair held on private property because the sponsor of the health fair wasn’t for abortion on demand.

Then we pointed out a letter to the editor in the D&C by Dollinger supporter Linda Stephens proudly proclaiming atheists are here to stay. In fact, Stephens recently hosted a campaign event at her house for Dollinger.

We’ve received an e-mail informing us that just the other day, Jo Meleca, Leader of  the Greece Democrats and outspoken proponent of gay marriage, sent out an e-mail encouraging all leftists to attend Barry Lynn’s (Executive Director of Americans United) talk in Greece on September 14 at Greece Baptist Church.

For our mainstrean audience’s benefit, Americans United are the people suing the Town of Greece over their practice of inviting clergy and residents to town meetings and starting their meetings with a prayer — the same practice followed by the Monroe County Legislature.

Now the same reader who sent us the Jo Meleca-Voight e-mail pointed out that this weeks’ Messenger Post Paper has an anonymous ad for www.stopthechurch.org. I took a look at the site and quite frankly, I was shocked.

Someone out there really hates religion.  Maybe it’s Christians or Jesus they have a problem with.  This site has a bunch of articles about people who are affiliated with organized religion who have done bad things. The people who paid for that ad and those responsible for the website should change their focus.

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Bible, I John 4:16

I really don’t get the point of the stopchurches.org site.  Is there any group that doesn’t have members who have done bad things?

Let’s see, who do we know who hates religion, has a problem with Christianity and would be motivated enough to go to these lengths to promote their agenda.  I have a couple of ideas, but I’m going to keep them to myself.
