Important Reminder From Local Obama Campaign — Just Because You’re A Felon Doesn’t Mean You Can’t Vote!
Posted on August 30th, 2008 by Cincinnatus
Channel 13 did a story on the local Obama campaign registering voters and (could it be?) singing religious songs Thursday when Obama gave his speech last week. At about the 1:30 minute mark, an Obama volunteer implores everyone to register and gives and important reminder that even if you’re a convicted felon you can vote. Only being incarcerated or in a supervised probation program would prohibit you from being able to vote!

Yeah I would hate to see felons voting especially these ones listed here:

THE LAW IS THE LAW. FUNNY HOW YOU EXPECT EVERYONE ELSE TO ACCEPT IT WHEN THE RULE OF LAW IS IN YOUR FAVOR. BUT WHEN IT MEANS HAVING A VOTE AGAINST YOU SUDDENLY I HEAR A LOT OF MOANING AND WHINING.
Hey to both ChangingParma and SCREAMER,
If that’s the law that felons can vote I have no issue, However if they can’t I don’t care whether they are Republican Or Democrat. I don’t want them voting.
I do see it as interesting that the felons who do vote overwhelming vote democrat.
I heard corrupt Assemblyman David Gantt is helping local convicted felons (ie: his close friends) get registered in his government office.
His buddies over at Baden Street (the ONE place where Gantt funnels hundreds of thousads of pork dollars every year, so they all have jobs) are helping out also.
After reading Gantt’s political registration drive being run out of hisoffice, I don’t think I’m the only one concerned about local corruption this year.
