More Questionable Activity by David Gantt??
“That’s for me to know, and for you to find out.” Those were the words spoken by David Gantt to Rachel Barnhardt when she questioned him about why he would sponsor a bill he doesn’t support.
Well, it seems like the Dean of the Rochester Delegation of Corrupt Assembly Democrats has given us another thing to “find out”. You all remember the last time Assemblyman Gantt broke the law.
Well, a reader sent me an e-mail pointing me to a local newspaper called The Minority Reporter. In at least their last few issues, Assemblyman Gantt and Councilwoman Lovely Warren, have run an ad about the importance of registering to vote. The ad reads: THE UPCOMING ELECTION IS VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP WITH VOTER REGISTRATION CALL DAVID GANTT’S OFFICE AT 454-3670.
Sounds pretty benign and frankly good politicking. But, wait… check out that number. That’s David’s Assembly Office phone number! I’m no attorney, but it is highly questionable to run a Voter Registration Drive out of a government office.
Telling people how to contact your office if they want to register to vote is one thing. Soliciting volunteers to engage in political activities through a government office is quite another.

CONSERVATIVES SUPPRESSING THE MINORITY VOTE IS NOTHING NEW. WHY ARE YOU AFRAID OF MORE MINORITIES VOTING?
ISN’T THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS RIGHT IN THE COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING? WHY DON’T YOU ACCUSE MAGGIE BROOKS OF MIXING POLITICS WITH VOTER REGISTRATION.

Corrupt Assemblyman David Gantt is the best thing the Senate GOP has going for them this year.
