McCain Picks Alaska Governor Sarah Palin for VP
If people really want change, John McCain has given it to them. He has picked Alaska Governor Sara Palin to be his choice for VP:
In choosing Ms. Palin — a 44-year-old conservative Christian and self-described “hockey mom” who has been governor for less than two years — the McCain campaign reached far outside the Washington Beltway in an election in which the Democratic nominee, Senator Barack Obama, is running on a platform of change.
Ms. Palin, a former mayor of the small town of Wasilla and beauty pageant queen, first rose to prominence as a whistle-blower uncovering ethical misconduct in state government.
(snip)
Moreover, the choice of Ms. Palin is in stark contrast to the recent selection of the Democratic vice presidential nominee Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware, a veteran lawmaker who is chairman of Foreign Relations Committee.
But Ms. Palin ran as a change agent when she was elected as governor of Alaska in 2006, and in a move that might have appealed to Mr. McCain, she took intense criticism from members of her own party for turning the spotlight on the failures of Alaska Republicans, some of whom had been beset by corruption scandals.
Great choice!

This is great now when a liberal criticizes her or McCain in any way we can accuse them of mysogyny.
She is a good conservative and will add to the ticket because she is a global warming advocate who believes that we can drill responsibly. She once said “America Purchased alaska for it natural resources”
Thats real change. No Washington insiders a historic pick of a woman. If the media is consistent they should not look into her background, should not criticize her, She represents real change and thats all that matters. Electing her will put a woman in the Whitehouse.
The crazy liberal sites are viciously attacking her already…
That means she MUST be good!
Great pick!
Finally, a woman is acknowledged for her hard work and accomplishments an it wasn’t the democratic party supporting her. Who would have though that it would be the democrats to snub a strong successful woman.
Excellent choice by McCain. Now watch the democrats go through the process of character assasination. I feel sorry for her and her family for what the democrats are going to do to her.
Hillary is caught between a rock and a hard place on this one. The Clinton’s could barely conceal their satisfaction when she was chosen. If Obama wins the election, Hillary will have to wait until 2016 to stand again. And if he loses, Palin will be first in line to become America’s first woman president.
