McCain VP Pick Discussion
What’s everyone think about who McCain will pick as his VP? Once I heard about the Biden pick, my immediate reaction was McCain has to pick Romney, end of discussion. After all, how can Barry talk about changing Washington and then pick someone who’s been a Senator since the 70s?! McCain/Romney can actually campaign for the kind of change we need while demonstrating their past success in implementing said change.
As the story developed and the fact that Hillary was never even vetted came to light, I’m starting to wonder if McCain should pick Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to just further the gender divide in the Democrat party. Also, the argument that she’s from Alaska and delivers few electoral votes is moot since Biden delivers a meager 3 votes. With the growing division in the Democrat party, we need to find a way to take advantage of it… whether its Palin or not.
So, who do you support as McCain’s VP?

Zeke,
If we are going the gender route, I like Kay Bailey Hutchinson form Texas, conservative, pro life.
One advantage over not picking someone who ran against MCain in the primary is that there are no videos of them saying bad things about McCain or Vice Versa. I believe the non Biden Bounce. (actually a drop according to gallup today) came from the wealth of negative things Biden said against Obama and the wealth of positive things he said for McCain. Its great that all the democratic support for McCain when he was opposing Bush is coming back to haunt them now.
I really don’t know now. Biden was such bad pick for Obama. How the heck do you say you’re the new guy who will work for change and then go and pick a political insider whose been in the Senate for over 30 years? I think Biden said worse stuff about Obama than Hillary did.
I really think McCain’s options are wide open now. Obama has opened the door so wide. Biden was a bad, bad choice.
