Obama’s Half brother lives on $12 a year
Senator Barack Obama’s brother has been tracked down living in a shanty town in Kenya, reports claimed.
The report by Nick Pisa states:
The Italian edition of Vanity Fair said that it had found George Hussein Onyango Obama living in a hut in a ramshackle town of Huruma on the outskirts of Nairobi.
Mr Obama, 26, the youngest of the presidential candidate’s half-brothers, spoke for the first time about his life, which could not be more different than that of the Democratic contender.
“No-one knows who I am,” he told the magazine, before claiming: “I live here on less than a dollar a month.”
Barack Hussein Obama’s said his favorite Biblical passage Matthews 25: “Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
What has Mr. Obama done for this brother or any of his brethren? Obama is a multi-millionaire while his brother lives on less than one dollar a month?
George Obama on his miserable life in Kenya has said:
“I have seen two of my friends killed. I have scars from defending myself with my fists. I am good with my fists.”

Obama will have us all living like his brother. Look at what a good global citizen he is. He has a tiny carbon footprint and is not part of the money culture.

Interesting article. It sounds to me though like the brother is the one that’s distanced himself from the family. He says he’s “ashamed” of being associated with Barack, and is no longer in contact with his mother.
How a half brother (who’s lived in another country since he was 5) lives doesn’t really indicate anything about Barack. It’s not like he made a choice to split away at 5 years old. And it does sound like he went out of his way to find his brother in 2006. Given his brothers attitude, I’m betting even if Barack offered him money or help he wouldn’t accept it. For all we know, he did. (How else does someone living on $12 a year go “a technical college”?)

Yeah there are poor people in the world. Some right here in America. I think the real moral of the story is that you must want help and be willing to accept it and do something about it. You can’t blame republicans for people living under bridges any more than you can blame Obama for his brother’s situation.
I thought the same as wood at first. However this is getting traction. The argument is that Obama only wants to help the least of his brethren with government money.
I like to think if I was a wealthy powerful presidential candidate and learned that I had a brother living like this, at minimal I would reach out to him and in Obama’s case send the camera’s when I did it. Obama himself would not have to do the outreach but someone in his circle should. They should help this guy whether he wants it or not. If he did not want the help make a donation to a hospital or other community organization in the area. You think with Obama’s wealth and ability to raise millions for his campaign he could create a private fund to help the people in the area with his brother.
Yes its a political move but I now believe thats all Obama is about is politics.
