Jack Davis Reveals John Powers Cited For Disorderly Conduct In 2004
Jon Powers’ is getting hit from all sides. You’ve seen our post about questions surrounding his employment plan charity, War Kids Relief. Now our friends over at the Buffalo Bean report that Jack Davis’ campaign discovered that Jon Powers was cited for disorderly conduct in 2004.
According to the Buffalo Bean:
The flurry of charges and countercharges began when the Davis campaign produced documents showing that Powers, a graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, was cited by a Cleveland Heights, Ohio, police officer on Oct. 23, 2004, for disorderly conduct. In his citation, the officer accused Powers of directing obscene comments at him.

“At a time when he’s under investigation and running from revelations of election fraud and bribery, the Davis campaign is practicing the lowest form of politics by distorting simple facts,” Dillon said. “Jon was written a ticket for jaywalking, never arrested and never showed any disrespect to law enforcement.”
But a spokeswoman for the Cleveland Heights Municipal Court said Powers changed his plea of not guilty to the original Class 4 misdemeanor charge to “no contest” in connection with a minor misdemeanor on Jan. 11, 2005, and that there was no mention of jaywalking in the final disposition of the case.

Truth? You wouldn’t know the truth if it hit you in the face.
How about posting the whole article? The guy was charged with a $ 25 fine. $ 25? Seriously? No arrests were made, he was in a group of people leaving a football game (find that on two other blogs who tell the whole story).
The citation was to appear for the charges - which in court were dropped and Powers pleaded no contest to a different charge. THere was no mention of disorderly conduct and the police officer and the court accepted this.
Bottom line - he got a $ 25 ticket.
Are you guys that afraid of Jon Powers? You must really know that he will beat the pants off of Lee.
If you were true Lee supporters and not afraid of Powers you’d want him against Lee in the primary if you think this stuff actually held water.
You’re pulling against him so Davis wins the primary, and Lee smokes Davis.
Want a Republican to win NY-26? Vote Davis… either way you’ll get a Republican.

let’s see Mr. Carr — the above photo was taken at a resturant not a bar, there are no drinks present at the table or in the photo, no serving tray for the water with drinks, the place isn’t crowded as you can see other empty tables, Mr. Powers eyes are clear and not blood shot…. looks like it’s a guy earing dinner with friends before/during/or just after watching a Bill’s game.
