Dollinger “Open Forum” Not So Open
Just got word from a reader that RICHard Dollinger’s so-called open community forum tonight wasn’t so open. Apparently some 19th Ward neighborhood folks who tried to ask questions were told they couldn’t openly do that. They were told that they needed to write their questions down and have them reviewed by Dollinger’s people first. Not very Lincoln-Douglass-like there RICHard. Understandably, some local folks didn’t like that. Dollinger eventually (and wisely), after some pressure, gave in. Supposedly, RICHard also had the room stocked with political people from outside the community. I know RICHard, it’s tough when your’re outside your comfort zone. It’s not your usual Country Club setting, is it?
Admittedly, no one from Monroerising was there tonight, so we’ll work on getting more detailed information out to you tomorrow.
