Congresswoman Louise Slaughter Is 79 Years Young Today!

If you see the Old Gal today, make sure you wish her a happy birthday. It hard to believe, but she turns 79 years old today. One of our first posts at monroerising.com’s pointed out how good Weesie looked for someone who would be turning 79 this summer. I’d love to know if she uses the same plastic surgeon as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Well, here we are and she’s still kicking — stronger than ever!

I guess age is only detrimental and means something if your name is John McCain.

I guess you don’t get it. She has had more work done than a hollywood celeb. and actually looks better today than when she was first elected to congress in 1986.
I think that would make her the one focused on appearance. And how about speaker Pelosi — I think she goes to the same plastic surgeon as Joan Rivers.
We would be all over a male politican if they spent as much time hiding their age as these two. I don’t think that will be an issue, however since John Edwards’ latest disclosure!
Oh yea and one more thing: Vic is right on. I’ve heard many comments about McCain being too old but compared to her he’s a kid!
Who cares? If you can afford to look younger, so be it. I don’t resent anyone who tries to look younger, especially those who are consistently in the public spotlight. John McCain will be 73 in August, but to me he is a young 73 if that makes sense. Bob Dole seemed much older when he ran even though he was the exact same age when he ran.
If we could but convince the ‘ole girl that she really needs a long restful retirement, our nation would be much better off.
