Barack Obama’s Newest Advisor

Barack Hussien Obama has a new advisor, notorious liberal Hollywood elitist George Clooney.  England’s “The Daily Mail” is reporting the Clooney, the two-time Sexiest Man Alive, is an unoffical advisor to Obama. A Democratic insider states in the piece that:

“George has been giving him advice on things such as presentation, public speaking and body language and he also emails him constantly about policy, especially the Middle East. George is pushing him to be more ‘balanced’ on issues such as US relations with Israel. George is pro-Palestinian. And he is also urging Barack to withdraw unconditionally from Iraq if he wins.”

Not only is Hollywood elitist Clooney in a league with Obama but according to the same insider, there are many others.

“A number of members of the Hollywood community, including Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, offered to help raise funds for Barack but it was with George that he struck up this amazing affinity.”

I know Clooney, along with Damon, Pitt and Ben Affleck’s brother starred in the remake of Ocean’s Eleven, but could Obama be looking to create his own version of the “Rat Pack”, the group of powerful Hollywood interests that JFK so enjoyed.  Apparently, Clooney and the perspective Democratic nominee speak on the phone twice a week and text or email each other much more.

Clooney has stated before that he would never enter politics because he’d “slept with too many women, done too many drugs and been to too many parties.”  Don’t get me wrong, I think Georgie is a phenominal actor and I do enjoy the films that he’s been in; but he has no place helping Barack Obama mold his stance on issues like a Palestinian state, the future of Israel or our soilders in Iraq.  This is merely one celebrity trying to become buddy-buddy with the newest celeb on the block.

  1. This plays right into McCains criticism of celebrity. While I enjoy Clooneys fictitious political dramas, I do not want to see him making policy or advising policy.

  2. “Clooney has stated before that he would never enter politics because he’d “slept with too many women, done too many drugs and been to too many parties.”

Since when has that kept people out of politics? Zing!

  3. You know, these actors need to just give their damn millions to whomever they want and shut the hell up when it comes to policy.

    George Clooney? Are you serious?

If you’re not gonna run, please just fund whomever you like and keep quiet!
