Jack Davis Says He’s Sorry
Jack Davis is sorry for bribing the wives of Monroe and Erie County Independence Party Officials. According to the Buffalo News:
Democratic congressional candidate Jack Davis apologized today for $10,000 in payments he made to the wives of Western New York’s most influential Independence Party leaders that critics called “bribes.”
The candidate, who has promised to spend $3 million of his own money in his third attempt at winning the seat of retiring Republican Thomas N. Reynolds, said his payments to the wives of Independence Chairment Anthony L. Orsini Jr. of Erie County and Rafael Colon of Monroe County for “consulting” services constituted a “mistake.”
“I am severing my relationships with the consultants in question and apologize for my part in the spectacle,” he said.
Davis and the two chairmen have endured criticism from many quarters since The Buffalo News reported on July 18 that he paid $5,000 to Coastal Consulting South, a newly incorporated firm headed by Orsini’s wife, Judith, out of the couple’s mobile home in Venice, Fla. He also paid $5,000 to Blanca Semidey, wife of Colon, who was forced out of his post by fellow Independence members who called the payments a “bribe.”
The payments came at a time when the often crucial Independence Party nomination was still unsettled.

What… no dragging him over the coals on this?
No calling for him to give money back, to resign, no calling for him to step down?
Just wondering.
Relax JacksonNoSense
We are going to have him drawn and quartered just for for you.
Now let me get this straight you are the chief of staff for JonJon? Are all the staff members as wise as you?
ExDemocrat are you the CEO for Davis & Co?
I’m just suprised at how hard you’ll go after one candidate, but let up on the candidate who the republicans want to win…. it’s ok if one does it but not the other?
