Should all politicians Republican and Democratic give all the money back?

How many registered Republicans or Demecrats have DWI’s, or told a bad joke, or made a bad decision a decade ago?

It’s not their fault you support them. I was wrong to make that accusation (like you were wrong to make the connection to Mr. Powers and anyone anywhere ever who did any type of wrong doing).

I once knew a kid in elementary school who stole candy from a teachers desk. I think he still lives in Greece. Although I think he’s a Republican. If he gave money to McCain and Lee should they give the money back?

How about drug dealers? Would Jon Powers accept their donations? Powers needs to do whatever possible just to get to Washington, then he can be a different politician who offers change???

I’m amazed as all the interesting comments you post to attack what I write, yet you lower yourself to the same level.

In a typical fashion you fail to see the forest for the trees, and avoid the topic being discussed because your point has no valid argument.

I hope some day your life depends on a public employee. If you’re refering to the press conference held by the three Democratic candidates it was in regard to public service. Not only paid positions, but volunteering as well. Something you’ve probably never wasted your time to do.

I didn’t need Mr. Powers to “tell me so.” I can see it in his actions. And the other candidates actions speak for them as well.

Want me to prove it? Vote for Mr. Powers and give him 2 years in office, he’ll prove it for all of those that support him.

I don’t trust that Kryzan, Davis, and Lee will support everyone’s voice. I also know Mr. Powers is the only person who seems to be at just about every event. (from what I see on websites, blog – liberal and conservative, newspapers, and word of mouth). And since according to this blog he’s in LA, NY, and DC most of the week, it’s impressive that he does all that and still keeps a pace to stay in contact with the voters. He’s a man who can be in a dozen places at once, meeting 12 x’s as many voters as any of the other candidates.

Mr. Davis has said during the past two elections that meeting voters in person isn’t his way. He’s even said the rural counties are a waste of time because he won’t get their vote anyway. I have seen Mr. Lee at a handful of parades, but he seems to only talk to those who will vote Republican, shutting out the voice of the Democrats (even those registered Democrats who vote for the person, not the party line). I’ve never seen him stay after the Rochester parades to talk with voters. He avoids being a flip flopper – but I feel it’s because the heads of the Republican party haven’t told him how to feel on certain issues yet.

Can you prove to me any of the other candidates will be better at it? No, simply because they are not. and will not be better at it. As much as you want to bash Mr. Powers, deep down it must burn you up that he’s really a good guy.

Soooo, what you’re saying Jacksonsmiles is that you can’t prove it.

InsidePolitics was pointing out how Jon Power’s support of raising taxes isn’t supported by many of those you claim he will be a voice for.

So, he’s already failed at being a voice for everyone, even before you claimed he would be.

Go figure.

I also find it amusing that liberal radicals get upset when non-liberal radicals use “straw man” arguments… but then they do it again and again and again.

The sad part is, he’s the only candidate that would sit down and listen to you if you called him to make an appointment.

the fact that my belief’s are my beliefs is fact enough for me to vote for Powers. If you feel the same way about another candidate then go vote for them, which I’m sure you will.

When Powers win’s and is still willing to be a voice for you (and people like Erie Dem) I’ll be the one saying I told you so.

I haven’t once complained about other sites because they haven’t moderated my posts. I haven’t had a vulgar post since day 2 or 3 of posting on this site becuase my non-vulgar posts were not being put up on day 1 & 2. You can’t seem to see past the past… go figure.

Can you show me Lee’s plan to cut taxes and save jobs? Does he have any trade policy? What about his energy policy? International relations policy? War on terrorism policy/position? No you can’t? Go figure.

Have you really fallen for the “jobs = good! taxes = bad” campaign burps? That much of a lemming?

Again you might have listened to the three Democrats speech about public service… but failed to actually hear it…. go figure!
