Letter to Editor Expresses Appreciation To Senator Robach
Here’s letter that appeared in Friday’s D&C from the Bly family thanking State Senator Joe Robach for helping them keep the scumbag murderer of their daughter from getting out on parole early. No thanks to the NYS Appellate Court for trying to let this guy out early.
Robach helps family in pain
On behalf of our entire family, the Blys, the Magnantis and Walter and Benjamin Casper, we wish to acknowledge our deepest gratitude to Sen. Joseph Robach, R-Greece, for preparing an online petition to prevent Walter Casper III from being released on parole this past April. We thank him and his staff for their continued dedication and relentless efforts in support of our cause. There were more than 4,000 signatures from all over the country, and we wish to thank each and every one of you for your continued love, support and, most importantly, all of your prayers.
On July 11, 1999, Walter Casper III murdered our beloved daughter, mother and sister, Catherine (Cathy) Bly Casper, by sending her van into a 150-foot ravine in Naples, killing her instantly.
He was convicted of second-degree murder with a 25-years-to-life sentence, but last year, the New York State Appellate Division reduced his sentence to manslaughter with a five- to 15-year sentence, which will make him eligible for parole in 2010.

Former Monroe County D.A. Howard Relin used to hold petition drives to keep the murderer of 14 year old Pamela Moss from getting out on parole. High profile efforts like these really do some good. I always encourage people I know to get involved in whatever cause they see fit. Especially something like this.
All our best to the Bly family and Cathy’s kids as they continue to mourn her passing.

This is why RICH is going to have problems with Robach. He is just a likeable guy that goes the full mile to help people out. It is probably impossible to count all the people Robach has helped out. I saw him at the Barnard Parade/Festival many knew him and they all seemed to have had something that he did for them. One thing for sure was he had an Army of people marching with him. It was obvious they were not campaign or office staff.
One thing we have in common is we are both ExDemocrats.
You won’t find anything like this being done for Dollinger unless he pays them. Dollinger was not much for constituent work when he was a Senator and he gives us no reason showing that he’d be any better if elected.
Remember, this campaign for Dollinger is all about attack and dirty tricks politics. The people are already seeing this and we expect Dick to continue with the same.
Robach is taking the high road and has the support of the people which is why he’ll be successful once again this year. Bad politicians like Dick can’t help but show their true colors. Some people call them scumbags. I think Dick is quickly approaching this category.
Watch Dollinger go back on his promise to support Clean Money, Clean Elections by taking Tom Golisano’s money. He’ll let himself get bought out just like millionaire Dave Nachbar.
For people like Dick Dollinger and Dave Nachbar, principle goes right out the window when special interests dangle campaign cash in front of thier nose.
