Friends, I have some sad news to report.  Former Bush Press Secretary and FOX News anchor Tony Snow, is dead at the age of 53.  After a prolonged battle with cancer, which was one of the reasons why he left the White House, he succumbed to colon cancer at 2am this morning at the hospital on the campus of Georgetown University.

President Bush and the First Lady released this statement, “Laura and I are deeply saddened by the death of our dear friend, Tony Snow. The Snow family has lost a beloved husband and father. And America has lost a devoted public servant and a man of character.” His sucessor and former deputy, White House Press Secretary stated, “The White House has lost a great friend and a great colleague. We all loved watching him at the podium, but most of all we learned how to love our families and treat each other.”
