New State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos will be in Rochester today as part of his “listening tour” to learn more about upstate area. While in Rochester, Skelos will meet with area community and business leaders to get a sense of what people of upstate new york need and learn how to satisfy those needs. Later today, Skelos will be meeting with the Democrat and Chronicle Editorial Board.
On June 24, 2008, Senator Dean G. Skelos was elected to serve as Temporary President and Majority Leader of the New York State Senate after serving as Deputy Majority Leader since 1995. In November 2006, Senator Skelos was re-elected to serve his twelfth term in the New York State Senate.
