I Agree With Jim Lawrence, David Gantt and Joe Morelle — Should I Be Concerned?
My earlier post on Maggie Brooks’ choice of Bill Reilich for Republican chair was mostly written last night — I polished it up this morning and posted it before I read the Democrat and Chronicle’s editorial on Reilich.
Check out the editorial board saying:
Her recommendation of Assemblyman Bill Reilich is a good one.
I would have bet big money they would be critical.
Even Assemblyman David Gantt had nice things to say:
Assemblyman David Gantt attested to Reilich’s willingness to work across the aisle.
Heck, the Cat Wisperer called him a friend:
Monroe County Democratic Committee Chairman Joseph Morelle, who is a Democratic assemblyman from Irondequoit, called Reilich a friend and a colleague.
“I wish him luck, just not that much luck,” Morelle said.
This has been a PR victory of major significance for the County Executive. We’ll see how long the honeymoon lasts.
