Is Assemblyman David Gantt Selling Out The Black Community?
Monroerising wrote a number of articles covering the antics of State Assemblyman Gantt and his band of forty thugs during our “David Gantt attempts to hijack the selection of Public Defender” series. If you missed them, feel free to reread here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, aaannnnnd here.
Well Gannett News Service Political Scene Reporter Joseph Spector wrote a neat little piece that helps shed some light on why Gantt all of the sudden had such an unusual spurt of energy back then. Here’s Spector’s post:
The state Democratic Committee completed its selection today of its 320 delegates and alternates to attend the Democratic National Convention in Denver this summer.
They also named four new superdelegates, all of which are backing Hillary Rodham Clinton — Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, former Manhattan Borough President C. Virginia Fields, Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli and state Assemblywoman Carmen Arroyo.
Clinton has 139 pledged delegates and Obama has 93 pledged delegates.
Here’s the list of the delegates selected today.
Well, the link Spector includes brings you to the actual list of New York State Democratic superdelegates.
Looking a little closer, check out this little find on the Hillary list:
MALE AT-LARGE DELEGATE PLEDGED TO CLINTON
David Gantt (U; AA)
That’s right. You read it correctly. The poor black man’s self proclaimed favorite son has chosen Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama.
Normally, we as Republicans would say, good for you. Support whomever you chose. However, David Gantt vehemently professes to be the representative of the poor and downtrodden African American men and women of his district.
We just have one question. Who did the African American men and women of Rochester vote for in the New York primary between Hillary and Obama?
We already know the answer. They voted for Obama.
Who does David Gantt support again? Hillary Clinton, the liberal white elitist political party machine candidate.
Way to support the people of your district Assemblyman Gantt! Just goes to show you that the whole Public Defender thing was just one big crock of BS. An excellent diversion used to dupe his constituents into thinking Gantt is really for them and not his own political ambitions. And we thought Gantt couldn’t be bought. That he was his own man. A maverick who isn’t part of the liberal white elitist political machine.
Well, it looks like David Gantt is no different than any other arrogant and selfish politician.
Plain and simple.

Does it really matter which one they pick? If we get either democrat we will have a Liberal Elitists. All the more reason to make sure your local politicians stay Republican just in case. Keep Robach in the NYS Senate! He’s good enough to vote for regardless of your party. Lets keep our Congressional districts Republican as well.
David Gantt is a joke. He’s lost all control and power in the city. Joe Morelle runs the big show now. Gantt is pointless. He’s barely holding on to what little shreds of juice he still has. Adam McFadden, a former Gantt protegee, wil be taking over in the black community soon. Gantt can only gets his political rocks off by blocking good projects for Rochester and forcing Monroe County to raise taxes on middle class working people.
Oh, and begging to get arrested in front of the cameras and degrading the deaths of murdered people.
You the man David! Keep up the good work.
