Chris Lee Wins Endorsement of Republican Chairman

Surprise, surprize — the Democrat and Chronicle reports that Buffalo area businessman Chris Lee has received the endorsement at that meeting of Republican Chairman in Geneseo last night.  I couldn’t find anything in the Buffalo News.

I’ll be interested in the details of what happened — maybe the Buffalo news will have something later this morning.  I’d like to know how much support David Bellavia received.  He’s the really arrogant war vet who compared Barack Obama to Tiger Woods and he was mad because all the Republican chairmen who didn’t support him were “acting in bad faith.”  Of all of the people who didn’t receive party backing, he seems like the guy with the biggest ego and most likely to force a primary.

We’ll keep you posted.

  1. Good Luck to Mr. Lewis.

Mr. Lewis has run the talking phone book and will bring the same success to congrees. We need people who understand what it takes to run a business and create jobs and services in the private sector

  2. Hey there, slow down on the arrogant attacks on this war hero. The guy has done more and bled more than you and I could ever imagine.

Lewis got the conservative endorsement and Lee got the GOP so how is Bellavia forcing a primary? We don’t know if the guy is even still running.

And furthermore you say that he “compared Barrack to Tiger” this again is complete nonsense. I thought so at first but there is an African American standing behind him and a Presidential nominee and two Democrats (Lieberman and Jim Marshall) I have been on youtube and have seen him make that same speech mulitiple times with different names other than Tiger.

Let us slow down and realize that you may not vote for the guy, like the guy. I won’t vote for him, but I will admit that he is important enough to have a US President, John McCain and every other Republican figure to want a picture next to him or stand on a stage next to his organization he founded. Personal attacks on a kid who will be the first living medal of honor winner of this war is over the top.

The truth of the matter is that he scares the hell out me (Clinton Democrat) and his resume is almost unstoppable.

We will beat him the old fashioned way, with policy and message.

I think he is likely done for in the face of all that money. But that doesn’t mean we should attack him.

You and I wish he doesn’t push a primary, then we would have the real chance of dealing with Congressman Bellavia. And that kid would hold that seat for 35 years.
