More News On Former Governor Spitzer
Gentle Reader:
I’ve taken a little time to cool off after my previous post on Senator Debbie Stebenow’s husband’s arrest for soliciting a prostitute.
After having time to reflect on his humanity, I’m actually starting to feel bad for former Governor Spitzer. The pictures of him walking the dog or riding to marriage therapy in the front seat while his wife Silda sits alone in the back seat are very sad.
I’m not the only one with the former Governor on their mind. I was at the Santana concert in Albany last week where Carlos Santana commented on the events that brought about the former Governor’s demise. (I’m a big fan of Santana — I think 1968’s Live At The Fillmore is the best live album ever recorded.)
This was in this morning’s New York Times:
Santana and Spitzer
Carlos Santana forgives Eliot Spitzer.
That’s according to The Record newspaper of Troy, N.Y., which covered Mr. Santana’s concert in Albany last week.
The newspaper said that after performing the song “No One to Depend On,” from his “Santana III” album of 1971, Mr. Santana, below, told the audience:
“My thoughts go out to the ex-governor. I pray for forgiveness. For the lady who was working in the shadows, for him and his daughters and his wife.
“It’s all about healing,” he continued. “Not blaming or judging. It’s about healing. It could happen to you and it will, because we are all human.
“Don’t be pointing fingers,” he said, “because when you do, four come back pointing at you.”

Yes, indeed, we are all human. Well put Carlos.

Whats this? Satan forgives Spitzer? I always thought Spitzer was working with the anti-christ.
