What If John McCain’s Pastor Said This?

I just saw the comment Bad Prudence sent regarding Rocky Rotundee’s post on Louise Slaughter politicizing that veteran’s event in Brighton.

Amazing. It always seems to come back to the myopic viewpoint that is frequently espoused on this most conservative blog — America is wonderful, Republicans are wonderful, the Bush Administration is wonderful, John McCain is wonderful …….

Those ungrateful _________________ don’t know what they have nor how much the above have sacrificed for them (fill in the blank with your favorite group — blacks, gays, women, Democrats, liberals etc.).

It would be funny if it were not quite so pathetic and misinformed.

Bad Prudence
p.s. — perhaps you should listen carefully to what Obama said in his speech today — he was referring to YOU!

I’m pretty sure Bad Prudence is a Democrat.  Our goal here at Monroerising.com is to show liberals at their hypocritical best.  Quite frankly, I am tired of seeing conservatives painted as bad people.  The point is the liberal media has a bias that is out of hand.

I would also challenge her to show anything on this website that is pro- George Bush, anti-gay, anti-black, or anti-woman.  Just because we think Louise Slaughter is a self serving hypocrite and David Gantt is using the public defender selection issue as a smoke screen for his own lack of accomplishment, doesn’t mean we are anti-woman or anti-black.  That is exactly the problem with liberals — criticise one of their own and you are a bad person.

Since Prudence brought up the junior Senator from Illinois, take a look at what his pastor had to say about Hillary, Bill, white people, etc.  If John McCain’s pastor said this he would be lambasted in the press.  The media has given Barack Obama a free pass on this and that’s just wrong!

I keep hearing that we need to understand the good things that Pastor Wright has done. I am sure there are many good works he perfromed.

What I am wondering is how about the many good works Don Imus did? How about all the reaching across the aisle that Trent Lott did? All I heard from people like the Reverend Al Sharpton was that he wanted nothing less than scalps and banishment. I am willing to bet the pastor Wright had similar viewpoints.

  2. One thing I am so tired of hearing from liberals is

“He Just doesn’t get it”. Like if I disagree there is something wrong with me.

I think I can safely say after listening to Obama yesterday is “He just doesnt get it”

    Well, it would be different.

It would be bad because McCain is a Republican.

Democrats can do bad things because we are made to believe by them and the media that we should not expect as much from them versus Republicans.

I’m not sure why anyone would want to be looked at that way, but it is what it is. Simple.

  4. Also, from this post it is clear that you people hate women.

(sorry, I’d say ‘you republicans’ or ‘you men’ but since I don’t know you, that would be unfair)

  5. Ooops, wrong story. What I meant to say was:

    You people are racist.

Sorry, I need to pay better attention to where I’m posting my liberal hate speech. My bad.

    Now I’m in trouble.

MoveOn gets made when we screw these things up.
