Welcome Home Robert Burke!

This story was in the Democrat & Chronicle today about Greece resident and Army 1st Lieutenant Robert Burke who returned home after being wounded in action while fighting in Iraq.

There’s really nothing more to add other than a resounding “Thank You” to Lt. Burke.  Thank you for your selfless and dedicated service to our country.

Our sincerest and heartfelt wishes for your continued recovery.

  2. Welcome home Lt. Burke! Many of us don”t have the courage to do what you and your fellow soldiers do each and every day. Thank you to you and thank you to your family. I know it is very difficult for them also, knowing that you are in harms way. May God bless you and your family.

  3. The D&C had a story today about Pittsford’s Army Cpl Kevin Mowl who finally succumbed to his wounds suffered when his vehicle flipped over from an IUD explosion. Cpl Mowl was appropriately honored and laid to rest yesterday. I encourage everyone to look at the D&C’s photo gallery for photos of the service. This is exactly what a funeral/memorial service for a fallen military hero should be.

May God bless Cpl Mowl and may he rest in peace. Blessings to his family also as they mourn his passing. Cpl Mowl and his family remain in our thoughts and prayers.
